What is a buttock augmentation?

A buttock augmentation is a surgical procedure aimed at improving the shape, volume, and projection of the buttocks. The treatment can be of interest to patients who naturally have little volume or who wish to better balance their body contours.

Depending on the available fat reserves and the desired result, one can choose between treatment with the patient's own fat tissue, also known as a Brazilian Butt Lift, or buttock implants. In some cases, both techniques are combined.

The goal of the treatment is not only to create more volume, but above all to ensure harmony between the waist, hips, and buttocks.

Why choose a buttock augmentation?

More volume

Improves the projection and roundness of the buttocks.

Better body proportions

Creates more balance between the waist, hips, and lower body.

Personal result

Every treatment is tailored to your body type and wishes.

Long-term improvement

The results remain visible for a long time and support the natural contours.

Beautiful contours are emerging

when volume and proportions work together perfectly.

The treatment process

Consultation

During an extensive consultation, we discuss your expectations and analyze your body contours.

Analysis

We examine which technique is most suitable to achieve the desired result.

Treatment plan

Together, we determine the shape, projection, and volume increase that best suits your body.

The intervention

Depending on the chosen technique, implants are placed or the body's own fat is used for volume enhancement.

Result

After restoration, a more harmonious silhouette emerges with beautifully shaped and natural-looking contours.

What options are there?

Not every patient has the same anatomy or expectations. Therefore, we assess on an individual basis which technique is most suitable.

Buttock implants

Suitable for patients who desire more projection and have insufficient donor fat.

Lipofilling

Volume enhancement with autologous fat for a natural result.

Combination treatment

In certain situations, implants and fat transplantation can be combined.

Contour Enhancement

In addition to increasing volume, the transition between the waist, hips, and buttocks can also be optimized.

A result that suits your figure

A successful buttock augmentation is about more than just volume. The shape of the buttocks must be in harmony with the rest of the body so that the end result looks natural.

Therefore, we pay close attention to the proportion between the waist, hips, legs, and buttocks. By viewing these zones as a whole, a more balanced silhouette is created that perfectly complements your body type.

At o2 Clinic, we strive for elegant contours that enhance your natural features without an overdone effect.

Recovery & Aftercare

The first period after a buttock augmentation is primarily focused on rest, protection of the treated areas, and controlled recovery.

Swelling, tenderness, and a feeling of tightness are normal during the first few weeks after the treatment. Depending on the technique chosen, you will receive specific guidelines regarding sitting, sleeping, and physical activities.

During the recovery, we closely monitor the progress so that the tissues can heal optimally and the final result can develop correctly.

Over time, the contours become increasingly visible, and the final result emerges that beautifully complements your body shape.

FAQ

With buttock implants, volume is created using implants, whereas with lipofilling, the body's own fat is used. Which technique is most suitable depends on your anatomy and desired result.

A Brazilian Butt Lift is a specific form of butt augmentation in which fat from other body areas is used to give the buttocks more volume.

Intensive sports activities are advised against for a few weeks. During the check-up appointments, we will discuss when you can safely resume your activities.

The results are long-lasting. With lipofilling, a large portion of the transplanted fat remains permanently present, whereas implants offer a lasting improvement in volume.

Depending on the chosen technique, temporary restrictions may apply. You will receive specific guidelines regarding this during your recovery.

During a consultation, we assess your body type, skin quality, and expectations to determine which technique can offer the best result.
