Fillers – Radiesse

Fillers – Radiesse

Content

How do Radiesse fillers work?

Radiesse is a non-permanent injectable filler based on calcium hydroxylapatite that stimulates the skin to produce collagen. This collagen stimulation helps restore facial volume, softens deeper facial wrinkles and provides a visible improvement in skin quality. The lifting and firming effect on the skin is immediately visible.

When injected, Radiesse’s calcium-containing microspheres and gel instantly restore volume and give the treatment area the lift it needs to combat the signs of aging. The gel and microspheres are completely broken down by the body over time.

Procedure

Discomfort is usually minimal and short-lived. The entire procedure takes about 20 minutes.

Complications

The side effects of filler injections are minimal when performed by an experienced physician.

How long does the result last?

The effect of a Radiesse treatment remains visible for nine to eighteen months, depending on the location.
