How does Profhilo work? 

Profhilo is made of hyaluronic acid. Compared to a hyaluronic acid filler, Profhilo is much softer. It is not intended to create volume, but to attract moisture and improve the skin structure. Fine lines are reduced, the skin becomes more resilient, your skin looks healthier.

What is Profhilo used for?

Profhilo is a real boost for the skin that lasts long. It attracts moisture, which makes the skin optimally hydrated. The skin structure refines and you get a beautiful glow on the face.

Procedure

By means of a few injections on both sides of the face, Profhilo spreads like an oil slick in the face. On the day of the treatment, there may be a small swelling at the injection sites at first, but after a few hours this will have almost disappeared. Profhilo is injected with very fine needles, in general the treatment is experienced as painless.

Treatment course: 

• An initial treatment consists of 2 sessions with an interval of 4 weeks.
• A follow-up treatment is planned between 9 and 12 months after the first treatment.
• Depending on your skin condition and age, you may need 3 sessions for optimal results. 
• Individual sessions are not offered unless it is a follow-up treatment.

Complications

The side effects of Profhilo are minimal when performed by an experienced physician. 

There are virtually no complications, but in some cases the following must be taken into account;

• Swelling and bruising.
• Redness and tenderness at the injection site.

How long does the result last?

The results of a Profhilo treatment last on average 6 to 12 months, depending on the situation before the treatment and lifestyle. That is why we advise to repeat the treatment once or twice a year for a lasting result.
